Singapore with B

After checking in at the King Edward VII Hall at NUS,
our first stop was the Singapore Night Safari...
It was a worthwhile trip as we only paid RM22
instead of S$22 when we showed them our malaysian passport..

i din manage to capture any pictures of the nocturnal wildlife
cos flashlights might provoke them...
However i did manage to take pictures with..
The Great Panda!!!
(Yap's distant relative all the way from China)

Later that night,
we took cab which cost us a bomb to Geylang-
Not for prostitutes ofcoz!!
For the famous beef noodle B was dying to eat..

and taufufa n sum crispy pastry as seen below..
Yum yum!!

The second day was Shopping Day!!
We walked n walked under the hot sun.
Things weren't very much cheaper though it was the Great Singapore Sales
A bit disappointing.....
Yes, we did visit the half mermaid half lion..
The Merlion!
Then we walked quite a distance to Clarke Quay
for my super belated birthday dinner..
Ohh u just got to try dis dessert at The Coffee Connoisseur!!
My saliva drooling dee....
On the last day,
we hopped over to the Sentosa Island...
I was sweating like the Niagara Falls...friggin HOT!!!
Dua budak menaiki The Luge.. =P

Certainly a trip to remember despite the overly HOT weather

Some say love is painful...

Some say the more you care for someone,
the more prone you are to getting hurt.....
I say its very true.

Words.
We commonly hear this phrase
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but Words will never hurt me
Is that really true? Or izit merely to comfort ourselves?
For me, words can cause more pain than anything else
especially when they come from our loved ones...

The Bible says in Proverbs 12:18 NIV
"Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."
Many times, we say things we might regret when we're not careful...
We blurt out hurtful words simply to vent out our anger...
We become ignorant of our words when we indulge in our own emotions..
However, we fail to realize amidst all that how much our words hurt the other party...

Yes i believe everyone has the right to express their anger or dissatisfaction
Well what is more important is
CHOOSING the RIGHT WORDS
Having the INTENTION to SOLVE the issue
Will mean and hurtful words solve things?

Love can be painful...
bcos those words hurt even more when we care....
like a sword piercing and twisting thru ur heart...
