but had to tahan la...or my eyeliner n mascara will go streaming down my cheeks...

This video reminds me of our Father In Heaven

who loves us unconditionally

no matter who we are

where we come from

what we go thru in life

whether we're crippled with problems dat we choose to go our own ways

or the many times we're so preoccupied with our work dat we even forgot bout Him

In spite of all this,

He stays still and continue to support us from behind

just in case when we fall

He's always there to catch us

Penang-Sabah-KL

Here we meet again in KL

Alvin, Calvin, Vector & David

We got to know dis crazy bunch of guys

2 years ago thru a youth leadership course in Penang

which ended with a mission trip to Sabah(their hometown)

We, the penang gals, used to be their 'drivers' when they were in penang

and they wud sing their hearts out

and they're real good posers....

hehehe.....

Last nite, we met up at Murni's

and yeah, we had a great time of laughter

just like 2 years ago

still de same old Alvin, Vector, Calvin and David.....

some things just don't change...

hmmm sweet memories...

Sabahans seem to have same style-their hairstyle,fashion sense, style of talking

dats vector & calvin who came up with the '3G' concept(ask gwen for more info or her BFF)

Becoming Jane

After church, as usual we wud hang out

dis time instead of going to the cinema

we decided to buy a dvd and watch it at shealin's place

Becoming Jane was the movie...

it was very much de autobiography of de famous author Jane Austen

this movie spoke of how Jane fell in love to Tom

Just like in any typical romantic dramas, they went thru obstacles such as family objection, misunderstandings, arranged marriage etc

There was a time when Tom wanted to give up on their relationship

due to his uncle's disapproval as he was dependent on his uncle to fund his education

furthermore, Jane's family wanted to marry her to a rich man to help Jane's father who's financially in need

So the heart-broken Jane said goodbye and left for her hometown, Hampshire

You must be tinking wat a SISSY Tom is....cant even protect the woman he love..

Ofcoz,as expected, he couldn't forget her and went to look for her at Hampshire

what do u tink happen next??

Yup!! they decided to run away..hehe...i know...

And they lived happily ever after....

WRONG!!

She knew that its not possible for them to be happy
with all de guilt, regret and blame dat they hav to carry all their lives

she knew this burden will cause their love to degrade sooner or later

Ironically, she left Tom

and live the rest of her life on pen...

Now you must be tinking wat a silly gal she is to give up on them

after wat he had sacrificed for her....

oh well, I tink she's a very brave lady to make such a decision

btw, she was not married until her last breath...

Tom ,on the other hand, got married and named his first daughter Jane

Now who's the faithful one?? tell me.....

Moral of the story:
It is OK to be single like Jane n still survive...

Mum and Dad came down to KL today...

As some of you wud know, i've been working in HUKM for a week dee

So we had this funny lil conversation

Mum : How was work? Any potential guys?

me : wat??!! is dat wat u guys wanna know??

(knowing where mum is getting at, i decided to play along)

me : well, there is one houseman....tall and not bad looking la..

Mum : oh good to hear dat...*smiles widely* Any chance that u'll consider him?

me: sorry, i'm nt interested... so dun tink nonsense k...

Mum : you must not be so picky and complain so much...learn to open up urself to guys out there...n bla bla bla.

and so on....

See what i mean???

they're even more worried than me...

to the extend that whichever guy dat come across my life,

i'll have to consider them...

haihzzz....

First Day at HUKM

i'm feeling soooooo tired...

my feet hurts so much...

My first posting is at the Out-Patient Department

I din expect much from my first day at work...

i tot that the only thing i'll do for de day wud be just observation...

I was so so wrong...

After a short briefing, they threw me a prescription slip right away

and i had to get to work...

felt so blur, i kept asking around for directions...

Managed to settle de first prescription slip and pass to the dispenser...

phewwww.....

i then continued with the next slip...

while i was struggling with dat slip, de dispenser called my name

oh no, i knew sth was wrong....

I labelled one of the drug wrongly....

ahhhhh....i almost poisoned one patient....

well, at least he din scold me....first day only ma....

For a list of 10 drugs, I spent at least double or triple the time taken by my colleagues to fill

Now u know why sometimes ppl hav to wait for so long at the pharmacy...

its bcos of ppl like me!!!

and a few times, de dispenser had to come rushing me...

malunya.....

What a day!!!

Melanie(my cousin) and Seah Hing came up to Penang last weekend

from singapore

after 10 long years!!!

10 years ago they were still in courtship

Now , 10 years later, they're already married

with two lovely kids
