Kids these days...

I was in my room surfing the net when i overheard my 4-year-old cousin, Shaun quarreling with my 80-year-old Grandpa. Grandpa wanted to watch Astro while Shaun wanted to play PS2. Everytime Grandpa tries to switch the television to astro, Shaun would shout " Caaannnnootttttt!!!!" at poor Grandpa. This went on for a few minutes.

Hearing the commotion, I went outside to give Shaun a lecture on how rude it is to shout at the elderly. Also, I was going to persuade him to let Grandpa watch his Hokkien show on Astro Channel 333.

Me : Shaun, can you let Ah Kong watch astro please?

Shaun : Cannot!

Me : Why not?

Shaun : Ah Kong watch too much tv dee!!

(haha...so keewwttt)

Even when Shaun leaves the tv to watch my other cousin playing computer games, he wouldn't let Grandpa watch the astro. This little kid would keep an eye on the tv from far. Knowing Shaun wouldn't let him switch the tv to astro, Grandpa still continued teasing Shaun by pretending to switch off his PS2. Shaun pointed his finger at poor Grandpa shouting "Cannot touch!!"

After 15 minutes of driving the car knocking into every obstacles in the game, Shaun finally gave up and gave in to Ah kong. He plugged off all the PS2 wires and plugged in the Astro decoder wires himself for Ah Kong.

Haha...

Dear 2009,

I've been tinking a lot bout you...
2008 has been good to me...
But I tink you'll be as good
or even better...hehe..
I made a point to Live Life with No Regrets with 2008
And I did!!! yays!!

Few days ago,

these 3 words 'Increase your capacity'

came to my mind...

I had a strong feeling dat this is wat God wans me

to work on with you

Then yesterday, Pastor Chew spoke on

Increasing Our Capacity as well...

The EXACT 3 words!!!

I was surprised but I knew it was an affirmation from God...

So I promise God & you,

i'm going to tryyyyy to Increase My Capacity for others

With dat,

I'm going to be more patient especially with ppl who annoys me

and in traffic jams...

I'm going to do wat i can to restore any injured relationships...

As for the current and future friendships i'm going to make,

I want to be a friend who is a blessing in many ways...

For my beloved family,

i'll continue to be a living testimony to God...

In my studies,

I'll do my best and enjoy my uni life to the fullest...

As a gf,

I want to be an encouragement always...

Yup yup!

Goodbye 2008

I was planning to summarize 2008 in this post...

But i realize that there's just too much to fit in just one post

Everything flew by so quickly

dat i never really had the time to sit down and appreciate all of it...

Every event in 2008 felt like it all happened yesterday

within 24 hours...

Seriously WOW

I can still remember clearly where i celebrated last new year's eve..

What can I say?

I just wanna thank God for every single second in 2008

It is a real blessing how much I learnt

and how much i've grown as a person...

How He opened my eyes to see the bigger picture of life

and the friends He brought into my life...

How He revealed His purpose for me through different incidents..

I am truly amazed by His Work in me and my family...

Well,

to summarize 2008,

I would say dat I have indeed

Live Life with No Regrets
