GLOWing in Malacca

After the Penang Food Trip,

i WAS very determined to slim down on my flabby arms and elephant thighs....

was going to cut down on late nite supper and fatty food..

It DID NOT WORK!!!!

Not only i went out even more frequently for late nite yamchas,

last Sunday, my cell decided to go on a food marathon to Malacca...

U tell me, how could i resist laaa!!!!

On the very second we arrived,

the marathon started...

we started off with chicken rice ball,

then chendol at jonker walk,

satay babi,

to seafood at portugese village,

then back again to jonker walk for the night market...

From 2pm right up to 10pm,

non-stop eating mannnn!!!

But but....

I did enjoy myself dat day....

(n felt guilty de next day*sobs* haha...)

told u I was happy =p

It was so SOoOo hot dat shealin n i decided to get ourselves hats...

to save us from skin cancer...

Jonker Walk b4 we called it a day

40days for People I Care

Last Friday, we had a Glowing Hearts dinner

Its a dinner together by Glow + Hearts United cell...

Being new in the cell, ofcoz i was rather laid back n quiet...

We had some ice breakers, worship session and then Makan time!!

I had a great time of fellowship with the rest =]

got to know more ppl....

After dat, there was a short time of sharing bout wat is our Passion...

Honestly, I found it difficult to answer....

I just couldn't tink of sth i wud suffer for...

Some say music, some say ministry....

The only thing dat came across my mind was my family members...

Rite now, they're the only 'thing' i wud suffer for...

During sharing, i received an sms from my lil sis...

saying dat she had been stranded in Mid Valley for quite awhile with no taxis...

asked me if I could go get her now dat i've a car....

I wanted to but i just dunno de way to her place....

And so i asked her to wait a lil longer n see if there's taxi...

I even suggested other alternatives like taking the KTM to another station...

I was seriously worried but at the same time, felt helpless....

It was 10sth....

At 11.30pm, still she couldn't find a taxi...

and so i tot i REALLY had to go dis time by hook or by crook.....

Called a fren for help and i was ready to leave...

Just then, she called back to say dat she finally found a taxi...

Imagine i was so worried dat i was getting teary dee....

And SO i've decided to do the 40day Fast,

i'm taking this time to pray for my loved ones, my frens, my coursemates and even for Malaysia

As i've mentioned in my previous post,

I am still looking for directions for this coming months

I guess I could prolly take this 40days simply to listen + receive from God...

For all of u who'll be reading this and meeting me often,

I'm gonna fast ALL DRINKS except H2O...

and unless Milo is going to be my lunch....

So yeah....

Dun try to tempt me with juices or any sorta drinks...

I'm doing this for all of u guys kayyyy....

So help me.... =p

A Big BANG!!!

Oh my GOSH

Before I knew it, half the year has gone by so quickly

Wow....i'm speechless

What have i achieved for the past few months??

I know i had a blast...Did u?

I managed to forgive a 'fren' (whom i tot i'll never ever forgave)

and move on as a better person...

Truly enjoyed my life, my family, church and frens...

My walk with God has been good as well....

Studies was ok.....

i've been learning to look at the bigger picture of life a lot...

Dat studies is only a piece of the puzzle....

and there's so much more to life....

At this point of time,

i'm still searching for directions from God for the 2nd half of 2008

What does He wan me to do???

I wanna serve His purpose and live life with No Regrets...

Continue to impact lives....(hopefully i've been doing so for the past few months...hehe)

It has been a good start for me....

and I hope to end 2008 with a BIG BANG

I'm so looking forward to july,aug,sept,oct,nov + dec
